Last weekend we took a trip to Multnomah Falls, which is only about 30 minutes from Portland. As we were driving away from the city, I could feel myself relaxing into the journey. I love exploring new places more than anything. There is so much to see in the world, and lately I've been crossing quite a few places off my list. Multnomah Falls has been on my "must-see" list since we moved here, and it was totally worth it. It was a little crowded, but once you get on the trails they spread out a bit. It's not just the waterfall either that's stunning, but everything around it too. It's right in the Columbia River Gorge, and if you do decide to take the trail up the mountain, you won't regret it. The view is incredible. I've been wanting to explore the woods in Oregon for a while now. It seems like I discover a kind of tree every day that becomes my new "favorite". Oh, I just love trees. The woods here look particularly magical & fairy-like. I love that too :D
I went a little crazy with photos... I couldn't decide which ones I liked best!
